There is nothing that I love more then walking around the city, I do love to explore, but  I don't even need to. I'm a creature of habit drawn to things I already know, places I've already been, foods I've already tasted, that's where I find my comfort. Don't let that have you believe I'm not down for an adventure though.

H&M Loves Music // Roskilde Contest

As many of you have already seen I modeled in the new H&M Loves music Campaign. Wanted to share the video with all. You might notice Nick who plays Pierce in Alien Dawn in the video. Enjoy!

{Travel Destination} Coachella with Hunter

I'm so excited to be going to Coachella for the first time! Next week couldn't come any sooner! And since I love doing"Travel Destinations" (remember  this one) It was only natural for a Coachella one too. I'm going with Hunter Boots which fits perfectly with my style!!
I'm the last person to dress up in some weird desert costume. (I'll never understand why people all of a sudden break out these silly flower crowns...) Here are some different ways I'll be dressing for this years Coachella festival!

Coachella Rain by troprouge 

Let's face it, it miiiighhhttt rain right? Well if it does which by all means I hope it doesn't, I want to be prepared cause I look like a wet dog with my hair wet. So duh an umbrella is inevitable and I love any chance to wear a good rain boot, these ones by Hunter are retractable so if it stops raining you can just take em off and roll em up. (Hunter is also kicking off this festival season with a giveaway..see the end of my post for more)

Poolside by troprouge 

Pool parties are my absolute favorite and I plan on lookin cute, cause well. I'm single and I like boys a lot....lot.
 I like bathing suits that leave a little "something" to the imagination Lilibon has some amazing suits to chose from with a really sweet retro vibe. I'm packing this one in the ivory color!
Hunter has a perfect waterproof rubber tote that fits basically everything from  Towel to sunnies & big bottle of water and another bikini  just in case ;)

Coachella Day by troprouge

This is my always always go to look for a concert in especially in the hot hot heat. I love a good plan white T paired with comfy Hunter Ballet Flat and a leather saddle bag from Hunter big enough to fit my camera and the token disposable camera.

Something about being a real girl is addictive. The options are limitless, but naturally I love to be more on the preppy side. I was lucky enough to find these vintage Coach mary jane loafer shoes at a Salvation army several years back. So happy I never donated them. March has gone by so quickly, I can't believe spring is right around the corner. I'm always discovering new music to listen to. I have a journal of just songs I've liked over the years. I keep it with me at all times. I'm the girl asking what song is playing at a bar that no one is listening to.
You guys must think I only listen to sad songs..well they aren't sad to me. They inspire me I hope they inspire you too.

Red in Paris

Oh Paris...I love going back home and seeing my family. I miss my little brother more than anything in the world. Fortunately for him (and myself too I guess) I'm always traveling back and forth form Paris to New York so I get to see him about 3-4 times a year. 

So excited to have flown home last week for work. YSL is one of my favorite brands and to be able to work with them for the past two years has been a dream come true...plus I get to go home and get a taste of my mom's cooking.

Surprisingly it wasn't that cold. I wore a  Paul and Joe coat over a Walter dress, layered under a Paige Denim top spending my last day in Paris with my mother.

Nobody's perfect

I'm not the cookie cutter person, with the organized room or closet. I listen to sad music when I'm down and lose my phone every 10 minutes. It's always on my bed, but do I learn? No. Take a glimpse into my room; a mess every other moment. An organized rumble of my precious stuff. I'm actually and you might not believe this, but a super neat freak I'm extremely OCD about how neat I want everything to be as soon as I stop out of my room. My apartment is spotless...and I mean freaking spotless, ask anyone, I'm crazy about order...but somehow not in my room, and I don't care, I know where stuff is I don't need to be perfect in every aspect of my life. Perfection is so terribly boring.

Here are some of my favorite "down in the dump" songs. Sometimes you just have to listen to sad music, it feels likes soft hugs and slowly dying flowers (ew, i'm getting poetic aren't I?) Well...so what.

{Tonight} Peanut Butter Lovesicle

I know I've been a little m i a this past week, so this is just a post to let you know yes I'm alive & yes California was awesome! I leave for the Coachella cruise the 16th with Bonnie...excited isn't even the word I'd like to use, because I don't think it actually captures the party going on in my head.

My friend recently showed me some new music, I swear sometimes I feel like I have a secret organization where friends just show each other new stuff, this is obviously all in my head, but I'd like to think it's real. Anyways long story short I really like this new band called Peanut Butter Lovesicle. It's a pretty funny name and I've had to repeat it to several times to friends whom all thought the same thing..."what the heck thats so good" I just love gnarly band names, so sure why not.

They play at Tamany hall TONIGHT (8pm)..so I mean if you wanna kick it and have a good time or just hang out with me cause I love new friends come join.

Betty the Shark

So this may come as a huge surprise to many people, but I use to be in so many bands growing up. Oh those teenagers years man. Anyways whenever I go back to Biarritz and hang with Leeann (the raddest person you'll ever meet) we sort of start that whole music stuff back up again. My brother  Philip Charles who is far more talented than I am has  taken his side next to Leeann in a band we call Betty the Shark. Good sounding fun music. They played a bunch a gigs when I got back one of which was at the Swatch Pro on the beach in Hossegor. Enjoy

For the Good of music

This is Kari one of the vocals for Swear and Shake.

So as you know I love music! Hence the melodies that seep out of your speakers whenever you visit my site. Now one of my favorite bands and not only cause my boyfriends plays bass in it, is Swear and Shake..they've played with many artist that you listen to now like The National..a favorite of mine (I have too many favorites humhum)

Anyways, they have just started thier 1st ever kick starter. They really need your help to keep up all this momentum!With some really knifty rewards.

The one thing I love most about blogging is switching it up a little...everyone knows bloggers know how to more or less dress them selfs, but it's having super mega stay up till 7am fun that people don't see....here is the last time I talk about Bomb Fest! haha.
