I'm obsessed with Ebay. I can find pretty much any and everything on there. I remember when I first moved into my apt I was on ebay every day shopping from anything to candle holders to couches haha.   I had no idea they had a fantastic fashion side to them as well. I always thought it was primarily outbidding someone else (a favorite hobby of mine). Since it's the holidays I find myself online shopping way more that normal. I picked out this Tibi top from ebay's Holiday Collective limited edition items,  I was hoping that I would be able to bring it with me while I was in Indonesia but I happily came home to a pretty little box just the other day.

Wore this outfit yesterday morning while I was Thanksgiving shopping. this is the first year I'm doing Thanksgiving at my apartment with my friends. My mom is in Paris with Pierce so I'll just have my dad and Philip Charles over accompanied by Justin and Bonnie obviously (duh). I just got off Skype with my mom, she has no faith in me cooking a turkey by myself "just order one Christina it's easy, Grandma does it" yeah...okay I can see you think  I'm gonna ruin Thanksgiving for everyone haha. I got this under control....maybe?...okay i'm scared now.

Soft crazy

Layers under coats is something I can proudly say I've been doing for probably ever. This faux fur Cynthia Vincent vest is another perfect statement piece ever girl should have in their possession. Every time I'm getting dressed I always pull it out to just layer on top of whatever i'm wearing. Yeah sometimes I look a little crazy, but in a nice soft crazy.

I came home from Indonesia and met my newest housemate, Eleanor the sweetest kitty I have ever laid eyes on. She is pretty much the only reason I ever want to come home early and the only reason i want to wake up that extra half an hour. If you follow me on insta then you've seen the obession grow from day one.

Still cooped up on the 13th floor of my apartment in the Upper east side. Our place has become a friendly haven for friends with no electricity or running water. I've been posting a lot of pictures on my Instragram so if you follow me y'all know what I mean. It's nice to be surrounded by people you love, plus I love cooking so this hostess thing is right up my ally.

Wore a tartan suit on a walk around my neighborhood yesterday. Being cooped up inside is plain awful, I just couldn't handle it anymore. I'm about to head to the East village to help my friend get her computer from her pitch black apartment, everyone keeps referring to LES as I am Legend. 

My heart goes out to everyone without power or who got major flooding damage!

I wish I was home right now our house in Long Island is always the first to go strait to hell. Our pool has probably over flooded and went strait to our basement...I mean I live right next to the water all three sides of our street is probably complete mayhem. We get floods when it just rains too hard. So i can only image whats it's like now. I kept getting updates from my neighbor saying it was getting worse and worse so I can only pray it didn't  hit our first floor! All our photos and my dads drum set which he knows is probably covered up from the bay. I don't even want to talk about our garage next to the pool cause i'm sure it's unreparable...
My heart goes out to all the families all over the East coast!

Witch skirts

Wore a vintage cardigan I picked up on my last trip in Amsterdam. It's been sorta chilly so this is a good go to, I also love the neat print. It's quite bold but goes with a  lot of different pieces. The skirt is a recent purchase of mine. I'm an avid shopper on  The Outnet  I literally check it daily, It's one of my number one places to shop online.

So hurricane Sandy is on her way and believe me I'm prepared! Bonnie made a hurricane emergency bag, I have yet to check it out, but I think she put a bunch of medicine and water in it and knowing Bonnie very well I'm sure she loaded up on cupcakes. We have enough food and water to feed our entire floor and enough movies on demand for a week. So don't worry about us in 13F.

Supertrash another brand I now have my radar on and think you should too. I can actually say I own nothing like this Supertrash jacket. I hosted the store opening event just last week, I was so happy to be able to take home a whole look from the brand and style a look. Seriously the nicest people in the world to work with! Walking in the store felt like walking into a dream wardrobe, leather and tweed, really makes me feel like I'm back to my old self. The old days of me wearing different shades & textures of black. Piling on rings and sweaters layered under wool gloves and a circle scarf. I admit it sounds like I'm describing frosty the snowman but that's me.

Just mildly obsessed with the Australian brand Cameo. I don't know whats it is about these ozzie brands but i'm smitten, although not seen here the jacket buttons really high at the neck perfect for a chilly fall day. Originally wanted to wear a tank with the shorts but after a quick glance at what Siri had to say about the weather added on a turtle neck my dad sent me from Paris. 

My whole family has moved back to France, my mother leaves this Sunday so I'll be driving her to JFK early in the morning, she bribed me with dinner. I'm not sad to see them go, I know they are much happier in Paris and this gives me another excuse to visit my friends and see Pierce who has apparently lost his front right tooth! Pierce is also attending the same school I went too when I was 8 years old. Such amazing memories...I really love France more than any other place in the world I miss it everyday but New York is my home now...and this place aint so bad either.

Tied at the neck

Another cold grey day on the east side.  I wore this outfit the other day when running errands and grocery shopping. I've been wearing a lot of this sweater/jacket combo lately, it's one of the comfiest jackets I own and warmest too despite how small it looks, I like to think of it as my little straitjacket, since it ties so closely to the neck. I have a feeling my friend Selena is going to ask me if she can borrow this skirt for Halloween, she wants to be a witch.

I don't think I've had this good of a weekend in ages. Saturday I met up with Justin and Bonnie at the farmers market in Union Square. It's been getting colder and colder yet knee high's are still acceptable, it only started to get cold around 8pm, plus I had my comfy Paul & Joe sister jacket to keep me nice and toasty thru-out the day.

My brother is back from Paris this week. So I've been on cloud 9 since Wednesday. He came up to visit me on Friday and I took him on a shopping spree the boy needed some new clothes, I got him a new suit at Topshop and literarily a dozen sweaters. Sometimes I'm a good big sister.

Pretty sure i'm done wearing pants. If you see me wearing pants this week then I guess I take it all back? But for the time being it's pencil skirts and sweaters...with the occasional black hat.

Engineer Goddess

Yet another pair of  boots on here right? No...okay maybe. I can't just stop wearing boots. Bonnie came in my room the other day looking to borrow something and decided to let me know that my collection was getting out of hand. I have too many pairs of shoes, you only see a small fraction of what I really own. My newest pair are these Frye for Coach engineer boots, the ocelot hair calf really spices up a classic Frye style, they are the perfect weight and worn in feel I could ever really ask for in a boot, I regret not bringing them to Amsterdam with me. On not really wanting to wear pants yesterday I opted for the complete opposite and chose this amazing dress from Free People. I like to call it my Goddess dress. It's literally perfect, yesterday was a tad chilly and I regretted not wear black tights, so I just bundled up in my coat and stole. I fear it get colder and colder....help!

Can I call it fall already? Is it time to double up on tights yet and drink hot chocolate till you puke? I literally can not wait to do either or those things, although I can do without the puke. I picked out this new sweater from Dimepiece my absolute favorite sweater ever, been wearing it to bed rolling out with it on and throwing it over dresses.
