After a long weekend with early call times, shows and presentations..and parties (let's not forget the parties people) I'm happy to take some time and share some recent images from the Elle Fashion Next show presented by Maybelline New York.
Overly obsessed with everything that came down the runway! And with fall creeping up on us I could have left with every oversized coat. One thing I love the most about attending the shows is going backstage and seeing the whole makeup process, the models running around and the racks of beautiful clothes...If I get to see a hot guy or two I'd say it was a good day!
This year Elle partnered with the students from SAIC. They had the opportunity to present their collections which in my opinion really pushed the boundaries on traditional fashion. My photos don't really do much justice so click here to see more.
Each student presented their collection to compete for $25,000 from Elle, $25,000 from Maybelline New York and/or a People’s Choice Award of $10,000.

This is awesome. I went to SAIC for a bit before transferring back to a college here in NYC, but I do remember visiting their Fashion Design department and massive design library. And the kids the school accepts into their program, geniuses, all of them.
