Sometimes clothes hit you in a big way, remind you of places you've been, stuff you've said, even things you've done. This shirt  has about all of those things. From cigarette holes, to blood and ice cream stains from a sweaty clumsy day. I refuse to throw it away, sorta like all the diaries I've kept along the years.

I'm back on Long Island today. Packed a light bag yesterday morning and I have to say after reviewing the contents...nothing matches or remotely goes together....Perfect, just perfect.

Our neighborhood really came alive yesterday evening. All the kiddies came out splashing about in the water from the fire hydrant....I even had some fun, letting the mist cool me down in the heat.
Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

Without direction or place to go Bonnie and I roamed Soho under the scorching 3pm heat. I've seriously never wanted to jump in a pool so badly, this heat is getting to me. It's hard to get dressed in the morning knowing that whatever I put on may make me sweat an uncanny amount, which is why I've been sticking to shorts and dresses, piling on the jewels and drinking loads of water.

Later that afternoon we escaped to a mexican place and surprisingly enough we were the only two in the whole place...that gave us childish excuses to laugh obnoxiously and talk about inappropriate topics  over sangria.

{Home} Teen Vogue
