Teen Vogue is over next week to take photos of my flat, it's still not done being all put together. I'm in the process of getting a new couch since I hate my current one and I still need to get two more queen Anne chairs. My mother has a beautiful rusty orange one, that I'm promised when they move back to France in the fall. I found that the best place to shop for home are at yard sales and thrift stores and not the thrift stores that try and call everything vintage or price the silliest things at ridiculous prices...jeeze I absolutely loathe places like that, I would hate to feel like an idiot shopper.
Easy strolling around outfit, carrying as little as possible. My day didn't consist of much. Some avocado bites and pink lemonade enjoyed on my balcony with friends. I was walking around in this pink Nanatte Lepore slip all morning and since I don't live on the beach and it's not 85 degrees outside I had to cover up..sorta. If your gonna wear pink you might as well coordinate.
Spending weekends back home on Long Island means packing light. Sometimes packing for me can be hard, because I want to bring so many different pieces with me to wear...even if it's just a small weekend. This A/X Armani Exchange outfit was the best idea for last week! I picked out this white blazer, because it reminded me so much of spring. Simply perfect with a T shirt and my blue jeans I brought along with me or how I wore it on Saturday with my stripedA/X Armani Exchange dress. Sort of a day to night kinda outfit. Crucial for mini weekend vacations.
