Can't hardly wait

Tried meeting up with some friends for lunch at Vanessa's dumpling New Years morning. We wanted to start the New Year right with some cheap ass delicious chinese food....We ended up missing them cause they didn't own a cell phone and came too late.. oh well next year!

After telling myself over and over again that I don't need any more fur jackets I caved and bought another one haha. I have a serious problem. I don't think that any jacket can replace my leather /fur Gar-De coat....but still it's a dame nice piece. And may I add it's vintage and was on sale...and faux! (gotta love the faux).

Decided to spend some more time home this week...which was cut a tad bit short, since now i'm back in the city...the cold cold city. Buur!! I can't take this weather. I picked up an amazing faux fur jacket just last week a couple blocks from my house, that's been keeping me very warm. I actually used it as a blanket/pillow yesterday afternoon when I passed out on my couch waiting for my brother to get home from kindergarden.

Monday in a new year

Ah to be in the city on a nice cool brisk day...I swear this is not very New York weather although gloves would of helped since my hands were a little frizzing when roaming the streets yesterday. Two friends of mine from france came to visit me and the beautiful city I live in. We spent the morning literally just walking around going into stores we thought looked interesting and drinking coffee all while talking about how much we more or less missed France. I miss it way to much, all my friends and the beaches. I can't wait to go back this summer and just relax and party...a party might be in order upon my return.

This Forever 21 jacket is the first thing i'd grab if ever there were a house fire (knock-on-wood)...Its been with me for over two years and has held up insanely well and might I add that it's such a great faux leather, I think I might get compliments on this piece almost every time I wear it.

As you can see I've been keeping my hair strait these days. I'm so envious on how easy it is to maintain! And wish It was't so damaging to do every other week. You strait haired girls really have it made. I use to have to wear a silly bandana to bed (sometimes I still do) otherwise my hair would be out of control and would get so jealous when my other friends would wake up and look perfect after one hand thru hair movement.

I now love my hair but enjoy the change from time to time.

There is something very comforting about wearing all black and just roaming thru the old abandon duck farms near my home. My town on Long Island is so small I like to joke around and say it's a 3 min drive to get to from one end to another. I picked out this Edun dress online and feel in love with how simple and high the crew of the neck was. I'd been looking for a tightish black dress to randomly layer with sweaters and i'm guessing mess sequins.
