Slow that pace

Family time has to happen for me at least one a week and now that my family is moving back to Paris for good, I'm trying to cram every last bit of time I have left. Don't know if you noticed, but Philip Charles who use to take up the majority of my tumblr and instagram pages has moved back to Biarritz to live the life he always wanted...playing in a band (Betty the Shark), taking photos, filming and surfing...he's having an awesome time. I'm proud of him. 

O K...now I highly suggest you check out the video Philip Charles and Leeann did when Leeann was in town last fall. If you listen closely I'm singing...my room was also highly destroyed.

{Home} Teen Vogue

Several weeks ago my roommate Bonnie and I were visited by the rad folks of Teen Vogue. They did this awesome feature on us. You can check out the rest of the story here. We also have a third roommate Selena who had to work that day otherwise I would of made her be in all our pictures.

Floral woods

Last sumer most of my days were spent doing just this...exploring the woods near my home, making my way all the way to the beach at the very end and picking out shells with Pierce. 

I decided to bring out this mesh backpack that I've had in my possession for a while now. I guess I was channeling the 8th grader left in me. I don't know why I waited so long to wear my pink backpack. I think this is something I'm going to have to bring with me to Biarritz, mainly just to make my friends laugh, although it's a very reliable beach bag...

It's so nice to be at home when the weather is warm. I'm extremely excited about going back to France next Saturday. This mini vacation is for pure pleasure. And it will be nice to finally go back home and see all my friends. Who are coming back from all over so we can all be together.

Cherries out east

I got to spend some time with my family on Mothers day. It was my only day off all week. Felt nice to relax and not be in the city for once. My dad of course had chores for all of us. Cleaning the pool is  not a job for me, my mother fell in last year when she was trying to clean it, so I always try to bring up that story to get out of it.

Teen Vogue is over next week to take photos of my flat, it's still not done being all put together. I'm in the process of getting a new couch since I hate my current one and I still need to get two more queen Anne chairs. My mother has a beautiful rusty orange one, that I'm promised when they move back to France in the fall. I found that the best place to shop for home are at yard sales and thrift stores and not the thrift stores that try and call everything vintage or price the silliest things at ridiculous prices...jeeze I absolutely loathe places like that, I would hate to feel like an idiot shopper.

March diaries

A mash up of snapshots from this month which has gone by so fast...I've been working on a really interesting project that has been keeping me quite busy. Trying to hang out with my brothers has been my top priority though. Pierce is learning how to skate so it's been fun watching Philip Charles try to teach him and lose total patience.
